Applications Now Open!

We are now accepting applications for our 2022 Summer REU: Genes to Ecosystems Program!

Chicago Botanic Garden has submitted an application to the National Science Foundation to renew funding for the REU program, which would allow us to run the program for the 2022-2024 period. The 2022 program is contingent on receiving this funding. However, we are cautiously optimistic and are now accepting applications for our 2022 Summer REU: Genes to Ecosystems Program!

Summer REU 2020: COVID-19 Update

Mon, 05/18/2020 - 14:36

After discussions with Garden officials, we have been told that we will have to cancel the REU program for summer 2020. With ongoing concern over COVID-19, it is feared that with increased numbers of students it will be too difficult to maintain safe physical distancing practices in the labs. The Summer REU: Genes to Ecosystems internship program will be offered in 2021!
